A bit of a short food post as was only in Zadar 2 nights and only ate out the one night.
For dinner I decided to go to a place called La Pegla. When I was researching Zadar food stuff I found out it was on the ground floor below my hotel. That's quite amusing. I had looked at the menu in advance ... I had a decision to make ... a Braised Lamb dish or the meal I had. I had the Wild Boar - Divlji Pljukanci - (Traditional Dish) (Pljukanci pasta, wild boar stew in red wine sauce, red onion). I decided on this option as when would I ever really get the chance to try/eat Wild Boar again. Had a craft beer as well. The food and beer were both very nice.

La Pegla at night when I was there (guess tables are normally set out, but not due to weather)

Wild Boar Divlji Pljukanci
After a morning of sightseeing I just needed something small for lunch. Found this place call Pek-Snack that sold small pastries. This looked ideal, pity they didn't have the one I wanted (that had bacon in it but I had some others still). They filled the gap and was not expensive.

As I mentioned in the Zadar general post, later on Saturday I headed back to City Galleria to get my shopping. I had my calculator on my phone so as to work out what the running total was to make sure I used the full €15 in vouchers.

Pulling my trolley basket around the Spar
I managed to buy enough stuff and some treats as well, my total came to €15.11 so the whole lot came to effective 11c for me. So what did I buy ... see the pic below. Top left is 2 spicy sausage roll type things which I had for dinner, with a radler, must've drunk one early evening and one later I guess. Then a chocolate donut for pudding. The (ABC) cream cheese, ham, cheese and rolls were to make my lunch for the next day. Yoghurt was for my breakfast and the Snickers and Crispy Choco Balls just as treats. I brought one of the Choco Balls bags home with me.
Shopping haul
I was going to buy a disposable wooden knife/fork set to spread the cream cheese, but from memory that was about 75c, so thought sod that, I'll make do with the coffee spoon in room. But I didn't need to, on the way home I went into La Pegla and spoke to the lady who I had chatted to before who worked there and asked if she they a plastic/take away knife I could have, she said no problem, she was even willing to loan me a normal knife if I needed.
